When it rains in POURS!

Literally here in Portland. We came up here for Chloe's MRI study and as we were leaving she started having seizures! So we headed back to OHSU and after 5 hours in the ER she was admitted to Doernbecher Children's Hospital for the night. They'll observe her for 12 hours and then we'll meet with the neurologist in the morning. Hopefully we'll be heading back home tomorrow but we'll see!

Thank HEAVENS my dear friend Audrey was here and came by the hospital to visit. It always helps to have a friend when you need a shoulder or a hug.

Grease, sugar and caffeine....

You know those days where you wake up and the first thought in your head is... ooooh... McDonald's breakfast! Today is one of those days. I don't have them very often... about once a month...teehee! So today I dropped the kids off at school and went to good ol' mickie D's for some grease, sugar and caffeine. Cinnamon Melts, hashbrowns and a Dr. Pepper later I feel like a sticky rock is sitting in my gut!

But oh... to satisfy a craving! I'm lovin' it!! ;)

I got a job!!

That's right... I got a job! I've been working for about a week and love it! I'm teaching swimming lessons at a local children's sports facility. The staff there is great and I'm working out while working!! Gotta love it!

The neat part is they are incredibly flexable with me about going to appts for Chloe or sick kids, etc. They also have a great integrity about how the business is run and things are taught to the kids. I just LOVE it!!

Those stinking kidneys!

Poor Chloe has another kidney infection!! I feel so bad for her!! She's in pain and has to take major antibiotics AGAIN!! We see the GI at the end of the month so hopefully we'll get some answers there so we can figure out what's going on with her bladder stuff!

Chloe's Health...

Chloe's health issues have been escalting in the last couple weeks and we're now planning to go to Portland to see another specialist. She was hospitalized for 2 days last week and has to take some new meds. I'm grateful that her problems are not worse than they are but I really don't like seeing another one of my babies sick. Please keep her in your prayers while we're figuring out what's going on with her little system.

Successful Saturday!!

This past Saturday I headed up a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Our relay for life team "pink ladies" hosted a "crop for a cure". We had GREAT vendors, goody bags, prizes, pizza lunch and treats throughout the day!!

The best part is that we were able to raise $200.00 for the American Cancer Society!!

Our Medford Relay for Life is coming up on June 2 & 3 at Speigelburg Stadium. Come on down and check out the fun!! This is a great event that works for a wonderful cause.

Heading to Portland

Chloe has been having some health issues for the past few months. Our pediatrician has referred us to a few specialists in Portland at the children's hospital there. So this weekend we're heading up to hopefully get an answer to all these problems she is having! Keep her in your thoughts and prayers as we help get her through all this craziness!
